#NYFW: Cinq à Sept AW17

Who can say that they’ve enjoyed a fine meal and a glass of wine whilst spectating a fashion show? Well, if you’ve watched a Facebook Live stream of one then maybe, but whilst attending the runway show? I think not. Cinq à Sept’s AW17 collection commenced in a restaurant environment with huge windows revealing the snowy landscape of New York – the setting definitely reflected the clothing’s general theme of comfort and warmth.

Ruffles were a dominant feature on blouses and dresses which were often accompanying each other to create layering. Denim made key appearances in the form of a tight mini dress and a three-piece suit which was covered in delicately embroidered florals. There was also a few twists on the current fishnet tights trend: instead of seeing them with jeans and a crop top, they gave softly feminine dresses an edge. A thick pair of grey socks were also placed on top of them with black heels to complete the look.

Cinq à Sept created a collection that can be worn by the modern woman in and out of the workplace.
