New York Fashion Week: Day 6 FT Vera Wang and Oscar De La Renta

The penultimate day of New York Fashion Week gave us all black everything at Vera Wang (not surprising but always lovely) and oh so feminine at Oscar De La Renta

I really don’t care that monochrome is a usual thing at a Vera Wang show; the clothes stay true to an aesthetic and they’re always beautiful. Bare backs, side buckles, long skirts and no sleeves were a reoccurring theme this season. The ankle boots/wedges with a heel are so unique and bold. I didn’t think too highly of the other pieces however that’s probably just due to personal taste.

Clinched at the waist and flared at the hips, what a stunning display of modern femininity at Oscar De La Renta. I usually pair turtle neck jumpers with leather trousers but I can see myself wearing a leather skirt this
winter.
