MFW Faves!

As Paris fashion week kicks off, here comes the weekly favourites post. Milan fashion week has got to be one of my favourites. I am so obsessed with the Italian luxury that is sewn into the garments of the fashion houses.

D&G have done it once again. The fashion powerhouse has kept to it’s traditional style of regal embroidery and classy prints but modernised the show with models taking selfies as they walked down the runway.

Pink is next Summer’s ultimate colour as demonstrated by Giorgio Armani. Whatever shade you choose, team with black for the ultimate spin on the classic monochrome.

This show was SO strong. It was so difficult to choose the looks I wanted to feature because if I could’ve posted every single one of them, I would’ve done! Neutral colour tones with masculine tailoring and a feminine touch.

With some of the world’s biggest names in the modelling world: Natasha Poly, Joan Smalls and Gigi Hadid, the Versace show was highly anticipated. With their signature sexy style of masculine tailoring and bold colours, the show had to make it to the favourites.

That’s all from Milan Fashion Week. The photo source of all the runway images: Vogue.co.uk I will have a follow up post on Paris Fashion Week when it finishes. I’m especially looking forward to Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. This Saturday I am visiting the current Louis Vuitton Series 3 exhibition in London so stay tuned for that post!

Fashion week has just finished in my home city of Landaaaan. One day I really hope I can actually attend one of the shows and make the most of it!

Here are my LFW SS16 favourites…

Whether you want to wear blue, red, or black you’ll be bold in Anya Hindmarch geometric prints. Team with this season’s favourite shade of matte dark red lipstick.
Bora Aksu

For every girly girl who loves crochet and lace the Bora Aksu show was devine. Add a splash of vibrancy to the usual mutual palette with a flower crown. Summer 2016 festival inspo!

By far my favourite show of LFW this season. Personalised back packs, black flowers and ox blood lips stunned the crowd which included: Kate Moss, Anna Wintour and Cara Delevigne.

🔥 Faves from NYFW 🔥

(From top left to bottom right): Givenchy, Jeremy Scott, Zang Toi, Carolina Herrera

New York Fashion Week has been eventful this year. We’ve seen: famous falls, Yeezy season 1’s twin, and most importantly, fabulous fashion.

Here are my SS16 FAVOURITES…

Vera Wang

We weren’t sprung by florals and vibrancy at a Spring show this season, but instead immersed into a darker side. Personally, I prefer darker and neutral colours anyway and the silhouettes are to die for!
Givenchy

Neutrals ranging from the classic black to fresher ivory for the Summer season at Givenchy. As well as skin tight dresses which I really wish I could afford. 💔
Jeremy Scott

The only predictable thing about any Jeremy Scott collection is that it is unpredictable. Popping neons and that amazing 60’s inspired hair and makeup makes the SS16 collection one of my favourites yet from Jeremy Scott.
Zang Toi

Pure luxe @ Zang Toi SS16

Zang Toi SS16

Pretty patterns @ Zang Toi SS16

Knitwear for Spring @ Zang Toi SS16

Light and dark bkue contrast @ Zang Toi SS16

Grace in green @ Zang Toi SS16

A combination of: simplicity, jewels and stunning structure at Zang Toi this season. Before this season I’d never heard of Zang Toi. Now, I’m announcing this designer as a hidden gem! I would purchase every single look if I could. 😍

Of course, I did love other shows including: Carolina Herrera, DKNY, Diesel Black Gold and Tommy Hilfigur.

NOTE TO SELF: Whilst fashion week is in my nearest city of London, go check out the vibes there!

I’ll have a similar post when LFW is over. Until then…
