College is so so exhausting. The cold weather doesn’t help either. I’ve always struggled with what to wear during winter, but you can pretty much wear anything as long as you wear a huge fluffy coat!
Today, I opted for all black (as usual). Teaming my Alexander Wang x H&M cropped jumper with a black midi skirt. I didn’t wear the coat in the picture because I hate how it dilutes the detail from my top!
What better way to match a dark outfit with dark makeup and a dark mood. As number 1 fan of the smokey, I’d be totally lost without the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2. This look was achieved by using Foxy on the brow bone, Tease and Snakebite on the lid, Busted on the crease and lower lid, Bootycall on the tear duct and YDK on the lower lash line.
After that, I applied the Benefit Push Up Liner to create a wing, followed by a Rimmel London kohl pencil on my water line. Finished off with a pair of my holy grail Eyelure lashes in 107.
It seems like such an effort to make just to go to college, but doing this makes me feel so much better about myself! And even if you have a pretty shitty day like I did, at least you know you looked good through it!
I hope your day was better than mine and let me know what you think today’s glam ✨
Hey guys! How’s the first full week of January treated you?
This year, I’ve decided to take every opportunity to comes to me in order to achieve my goals and wildest dreams. “I can’t be arsed.” “I’m tired.” “Fuck that”. None of those excuses anymore! It’s all about PMA: Positive Mental Attitude. It’s honestly astonishing how much your mind can play tricks on you and torment you into thinking you’re a failure; you’re really not!
No matter what stage you are at, no matter what dream you have, you CAN achieve it.
I love the quote in the picture I’ve attached along with this post. Beating yourself up about shit you can’t control will not get you to where you want to be.
Take each day as it comes
as they (whoever they are) say.
I’ve really wanted to do this Wise Words Wednesday thing for a while now, let me know what you think!
The final evening of 2014 really went off with a bang. As usual, there was the usual dramas and my New Years Eve really was one to remember this year and I have the memories to reminisce.
I’d never really thought that a jumpsuit would suit me as being 5ft 1, I reckoned they would consume me! However, after the Boxing Day sales madness had died down a bit, I took a trip to Oxford Street and found this lovely nude ensemble in the Topshop sales. Reduced from £60 to £35, I was so so amazed.
Teamed with a diamanté bracelet and a pair of nude and white wedges (Dorothy Perkins) nude glam was the chosen theme for my outfit.
‘New year, new me’, we’ve all heard it from everyone before and quite frankly, it’s very boring. However, I feel such positive vibes for 2015 and I believe this is the year my life will really start to change, like a mountaineer to Everest, nothing’s going to stop me!
What are your goals for 2015? I would love to know.
