Follow up from my last post! I’m now ready to go 🙂
To do the sleek ponytail I used VO5 hair wax, combed it through the crown and front of my locks and tied the pony low. For added length and volume I’ve added a 4 clip weft from my Dirty Locks hair extensions and clipped around my natural pony.
For the makeup look, I created a brown and gold smokey eye, highlighted and contoured my face and added a bright, glossy red lipstick over my lips.
Good afternoon, I’ve been very busy this week so I do apologise for the minimal posting.
This evening I’m meeting up with a lot of the girls to go out for our friend’s birthday. It’s quite difficult to plan what to wear when you’re going out for a meal, do you dress casj? Or go all out? Personally, I always go all out! that way I never feel under dressed and if I feel over dressed, at least I know I’ve made the effort 😉
In the picture above I’m wearing a two piece set; the cropped top and midi skirt combo. I got this from Ebay for a bargain!
Teamed up with a sleek hair do and red lipstick, you can’t do wrong!
It’s the weekend so that means a break from my never ending college work and another girly day out.
London is my favourite city that is so far visited. Diego Barrueco posted a quote on Instagram earlier that really summed up the England capital:
‘No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tried of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.’
Today’s look is inspired by Kim Kardashian (smokey eye) and Kylie Jenner (nude lips).
To achieve this look I used an eye shadow palette that is an extremely cheap remake of the Urban Decay Naked palette that I bought from TK Maxx for £3.99! I brushed the matte chocolate brown colour over the lid, the glittery dark brown on the crease and edges and the gold under the bottom lid. I then used the fabulous Maybelline lip pencil that features in one of my previous posts.
Hey guys! This afternoon I’m going out for a meal with my best friend. I usually like to dress up for any occasion and today I thought it was the best opportunity to wear my new leather mini skirt. When I saw it on the rails my heart-gaze was on! Love at first sight, for sure.
The skirt is available at H&M for just £14.99. The Topshop monochrome mesh cropped jumper I bought off Ebay.
Have a lovely weekend 🙂
So I got invited to 2 Halloween parties this year but I’ve been too busy to go! So instead I bring you a little bit of a throwback to when I dressed up as bad-ass Sandy from Grease to an 80’s themed partayyy!
To achieve this look I literally just through some random clothes together: black vest top and black and gold studded belt, Primark, PVC leggings Ebay. I had so much fun creating this look and adding my own twist on it.
I curled my hair using a spiral wand curler, back combed it and tossed it to the side. I also created a natural-look smokey eye and added a vibrant red lipstick from the Kate Moss for Rimmel London collection! (It’s one of the best drug store lipsticks for solid staying power).
Don’t be afraid to dress up as something original and have fun mix and matching what you have at home if you’re on a budget!
What did you dress up as this year?
